    A near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy method was established for fast determination of dioscin in Dioscorea zingiberensis. The calibration model between the content of dioscin and the NIR spectroscopy of Dioscorea zingiberensis was built with partial least squares. The correlation coefficientof calibration (R2) was 0.992 1, root mean square error of cross validation (RMSECV) was 0.010 4, the external prediction deviation RMSEP was 0.010 5, and the predicted average relative error was 4.12%.

    The fingerprint of Shenxiong glucose injection was established by UFLC. A Diamonsil C18 column was used with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid by gradient elution at the detection wavelength of 230 nm. Ten common peaks were definedin different fingerprintsand seven characteristic peaks were identifiedas tanshinol, tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride, protocatechuic aldehyde, salvianolic acid D, rosmarinic acid, salvianolic acid B and salvianolic acid A. Under the same selected chromatographic conditions, the fingerprintsof raw drugs, the intermediates and products were obtained with good separation and correlation. The similarity analysis of 17 batches of Shenxiong glucose injection were over 0.98.

    A hollow fiber-liquid phase microextraction (HF-LPME)-HPLC method was established for the determination of trace strychnine and brucine in cleaning validation of productional equipment. Parameters influencingthe extraction effciency were investigated and optimized. The enrichment factors of strychnine and brucine were 80.6 and 122.4, respectively, under extraction by n-octyl alcohol and agitating at 800 r/min for 60 min. An HPLC method was applied for the determination. A C18 column was used with the mobile phase of 0.4% phosphoric acid (adjusted to pH 3.0 by triethylamine)-acetonitrile (85︰15) at the detection wavelength of 260 nm. The calibration curves for strychnine and brucine were linear in the range of 0.01 - 1 µg/ml. Their recoveries were 98.3% and 98.5%, with RSDs of 0.4% and0.6%.

    Oligopeptide transporter PepT1 is widely distributed in various organs and tissues of human and animals, which substrates are mainly proteolytic dipeptides and tripeptides. Based on a literature review, the in vivo distribution of PepT1 and its proton-dependent transport mechanism are introduced and the structure of the transporter and its selectivity on the substrate molecules are elucidated in this paper. In addition, several in vitro and in vivo models for evaluation of PepT1-mediated transportation as well as the applications of suvstrate modificationstrategies to drug absorption are also described.
